Symbolic interactionists create a framework upon which people in the society reference to for a better understanding of how individuals interact with one another to create normal implications that tend to influence individual behaviors. From a symbolic interactionist point of view, socially created phenomena are highly characterized by the fact that one person’s observable behavior has intrinsic impacts on other people. For example, marriage as asocial phenomena has been normalized to create meaning and value and in the long causes a change in the concepts of love and relationship. The importance of any socially created phenomena is that it allows societies o create a common aspect that increases homogeneity and linkage amongst themselves.
