A psychologist hypothesize that people eat less when they know that they’re being monitored by someone. For this, the psychologist gathered 20 students from a university and divided them into two groups. Both of the groups were given their favorite food items to eat. However, the second group was told that they’re being monitored by a CCTV camera and nothing was said to the group
The psychological impact of having observed by others has been shown in investigations to be a potent instrument in shaping social behavior. Our findings revealed that such knowledge affects a person's cognitive regulation abilities in an intense environment.
