Describe the dimensions the DSM uses to classify mental disorders
The DSM uses the identity, self-direction, empathy, and intimacy dimensions in the classification of mental disorders. Every dimension is rated using a five-point continuum, ranging from value zero which closely relates to the instance of no impairment and proceeds to some level of impairments, then moderate, continuing to severe impairment and lastly rates extreme level impairment.
