Conditions have to be met before a person can be diagnosed with post-traumatic-stress disorder include;
(i) Experiencing a traumatic event
(ii) At least one (or more) intrusion symptom(s)
(iii) One (or more) avoidance symptom(s)
(iv) Two (or more) symptoms of negative feelings and mood changes
(v) Two (or more) symptoms of changes in arousal or reactivity
