Values of confidentiality demands that the person involved in handling confidential information about the client to keep the information strictly confidential without disclosing any piece of it to an unauthorized persons. Values of confidentiality is much of deontological virtue as it places a duty on one individual to another. Whereas individualisation puts more emphasis and importance on in individual rights and the sense of autonomy among the clients one is dealing with. It emphasises on the moral worth of people.

Masego being a widow and so much distressed, she needs comfort and above confidentiality of the family confidence she is sharing with the social worker. I will embrace the values of confidentiality while handling her case and helping her to recover from the loss of her husband. I will assure her that as a social worker i will do everything possible and within my means to uphold her mopral worthiness. I will endeavor to create an environment where by Masego will feel confident and can be able to share all her worries and family problems she enduring. Masego being emotionally disturbed by the untimely death of her husband she needs much attention more so emotional support to see sense of the work of the social worker. I will create a scenario where she will be able to take my advice as a social worker to come to her senses and her normal life. I will explain to her about the events of life that human beings have no control at.
