Personality tests should not be used for making personal decisions since they do not exactly reveal who you're. In most cases, there is a dilemma while taking the tests and thus cannot be used in making personal decisions as compared to instincts.

They can be used for social purposes since they can be arranged in the levels of relativities. They can be used in gauging personality disorders, like classifying if an individual is brave, fearful or cowardice based on the personality questions asked.
