Describe the Rubin Vase illusion. What do you find interesting about it? How does it connect to sensation and perception?
The Rubin Vase is a visual illusion caused by the visual system's analysis of visual scenes in terms of items and background. Inattentional blindness is the inability to perceive stimuli when the mind is preoccupied with something else. It has to do with the visual system's limited ability to retrieve relevant information from a visual scene.
