What contribution do Postmodernism as a philosophy of education can make to the society in which you live?
Postmodernism entails a technique that tries to describe how society has advanced to an epoch beyond modernity. It focuses on the significance of personalization, power relationships and discourse in the construction of world views and truth. In my society, postmodernism facilitates a more diverse and fragmented education system. There are now specialist schools that focus on one subject and several faith schools. Also, the approach enables privately educated learners to enjoy a very pricey education with clearly defined academic years and structured lessons.
