Intrinsically motivated people regard learning as a meaningful activity.
B Extrinsically motivated people have no desire to more about a matter than is
necessary.
Intrinsically motivated people have enthusiasm from within and they engage in an activity because they enjoy and get personal satisfaction from it while extrinsically motivated people gain their motivation from external forces and they do something to gain an external reward.
Learning is for personal gain for one to gain knowledge and understand the dynamics of his/her life. An intrinsically motivated person who is much interested in learning will see it as a meaningful activity since they are internally motivated while for an extrinsically motivated person has no external reward in learning and thus will perceive it meaningless and regard undesirability towards it.
