Explain how children learn and develop a wide range of learning activities and resources that facilitate integrated learning and hostilic development
Children learn and develop a wide range of learning activities in different ways which include
I. Active involvement- through paying attention, observation, and memorization children engage in various activities which facilitate learning.
II. Social participation- when parents interact with their children, they acquire attributes that help them fit in the society. Lev Vygotsky notes that children learn by internalizing activities, habits, and ideas of family members.
III. Meaningful activities- children learn best when they actively engage in activities that are seen to be vital in real life and culturally relevant
IV. Relating new information to prior knowledge- children learn knew knowledge by building on what they already understand and believe
V. Play is crucial for children learning since it promotes joyful leaning that cultivates language, mental and social competencies
