How do the 6 constructs of the BWVI impact the way in which the field of psychology is studied?
The Biblical Worldview Indicator (BWVI) is an assessment that measures and lets you know if the things you believe to be true actually line up with what the Bible says regarding those questions. This can help you examine your own beliefs. This does not focus on your specific preferences, rather, it seeks to look at your beliefs and show you what the Bible says about it.
There are six constructs in the BWVI which are ontology, cosmology, eschatology, axiology, praxeology, and epistemology. These impact how we study psychology because each construct deals with something specific, for example in cosmology, it's a study focused on where everything comes from. Psychology is science. Scientists believe in scientifically researched truths, like the Big Bang. Clashing this from a Biblical standpoint, the Bible believes that we came from God.
