What do you understand by requirement gathering? Explain the different requirements gathering technique that are used by an analyst?
Requirement gathering is a process of creating a list of requirements that describe how the software must use and what users are supposed to do. Requirement gathering can be compared to a plan of foundation on which the software will be built.
The three different requirement gathering techniques:
Interview: ask the user what he or she wants to do with the software with open question
User observation: give the user a specific task and see how it will be approached and solved. Use this information for your design.
Brainstorming: meet with your team and consider the aspects of your software, generate and record ideas, then select the ideas that can be accomplished.
