1. It is a parallel bus hence has bandwidth limitations and the setback is that the available bandwidth is shared by all the devices on single PCI bus.
2. PCI clock frequency is inadequate thus there's lack of isochronous transfer of data.
3.The PCI is compatible only with adapters that support modern class of pentium processors.
