According to the prediction of Moore's law, what do you think computers will be like in 2050? Will, we still be using keyboards and mice or will we actually live inside a partially digital world?
According to the prediction made by American engineer Gordon Moore in 1965 the number of transistors per silicon chip doubles every year. But, according to the investigations of Moore and another scientists, the size of transistors approaches the size of atoms which is fundamental barrier, unfortunately. It will be reached around 2025. Maybe that challenge will stimulate us to discover something new - like quantum computers. And then, instead of keyboards and mice, we will have a direct neural interface with quantum computer.
