PE-Processing Element- This component is responsible for data movement, protocol processing and data management.

(Direct Memory Access) DMA Unit- Handle the fast movement of data between the memory and the link interface.

Memory- This is where data is being stored in the network adapter.

End system interface- Serve as a an interface between the end system and the network adapter.
