Both the above AUPs are given guidelines and control of two business groups and they are giving a clear idea about what re do's and dont's in the perspective of the company polices. 


First AUP, For Acme Corporation is a business that having hardware devices to protect and in their AUP mentioned clearly about the handling of hardware devices and how to keep office clean. And about storage devices that can be connect to the systems in the office. 


Second AUP is based on a web oriented business onlinetech_com: so they form their AUP for good functioning of their business by concentrating on online behavior management. So they are mentioned about users responsibilities, illegal activities, Guidelines to follow to keep network security protected. And also clients responsibilities and also mtellectual property rights.

An AUP for this company can be developed like follows by considering given requirements. 


a) OVERVIEW 


The use of this policy document is for establishing acceptable and unacceptable usage of electronic devices: Websites: and network resources at OURPRODUCT in accordance with its well established culture in ethical and good behavior: integrity, openness and trust. 


OURPRODUCT is providing computer devices,network, and also other information systems in order to meet goals, missions, and also initiatives that must manage them to maintain availability, confidentiality and integrity. This policy demands the users to comply with company established policies and protects the company against legal issues.

b) SCOPE


All contractors, permanent employees, temporary workers and others at OURPRODUCT, includes all parties must follow the specific policies. This policy covers all the assets owned by OURPRODUCT and also to the devices that reside in OURPRODUCT and connect to the OURPRODUCT site.


c) POLICY


Internet use during breaks: The internet can be making usable for students & employees for their personal purpose works during break timings. And, employees and students should avoid the usage of internet during the normal working hours for entertainment & other purposes. For internet access, they can use company devices by getting registered in appropriate function.

Use of Smart Devices: Smart devices usage during working hours and in the premises of company is being restricted. Switching of the devices as long as they will be in the premises of institute or company is benefitial to both students and other employees as well.

Social Media: If you are getting registered and want to use company or institute devices, then accessing the social media is very strictly prohibited. Only in the break timings and that too from personal devices only its allowable.

d) ENFORCEMENT


Any violation created by the above policies by any of the employee, worker or student will be terminated immediately. Even the same is applicable with vendors as well. They need to immediately close their contract assignment with OURPRODUCT and leave.
