CPG companies use to take the customers data such as products which customer are mostly using, what type of products he used to search, customer's pocket friendly budget which used to search the particular customer over the CPG website and store the personal information such as name, age, marital status, mail id, education, place of birth and permanent address, current address etc. company used to store and based on that data company used to throw the advertisement to the customer. These advertisement is based on the searching trend of the customer and used to offer the discount, birthday gift discount etc lots of thing, companies are using for to make the customer satisfaction level high. and based on that data companies are using in the production of products and storage capacity of the of the inventory.

  1. The consumer is a group of people who used to purchase the products, visit the sites, install the application and register over the portal and register themselves over the CPG companies website are the consumer for the CPG company. And during the registration company can take the personal information such as name, father name, date of birth, location history, etc data, company can use.
  2. It can be gather based on the locality, browsing behavior of the customer, date of birth reminder and gift offer etc are ways by which company can use the data.
  3. CPG (Customer Package Goods) data can be used based on the product history, location history, type of products customer used to order, customer searching behavior analysis based on which company can throw the advertisement to the customer's end.
  4. The benefit for the consumer is that they can get good products as per their interest, they can find the educational contents etc as per their search behavior.
  5. The commonly used CPG companies are listed below - food (swiggy, zomato, McDonald), beverages(swiggy, zomato etc), over-the-counter drugs, and cleaning products.
