a)     Suppose you own a clotting brand company with your name, then how will you manage the data of your customers, orders, contracts, accounts, fixed and running expenses efficiently?

b)    Would you prefer electronic database over manual database? Why or Why not? List down at least three databases available in the market for commercial use.

c)     Design the database for your clotting brand company using MS Access. Design tables (as mentioned in part a) with necessary fields (must include primary and foreign keys) and draw the ERD diagram. (Paste the image of ERD diagram using snipping tool in your answer sheet). Use query to fetch any specific information of your interest from more than one table (Paste the complete image using snipping tool in your answer sheet).

a) Considering that I have a really big company, I will use a database approach to store the data of my customers, orders, contracts, accounts, fixed and running expenses.

Using a database approach helps me to maintain the data in all the tables based on a key, which will help me to fetch the data really fast. The relationships between these databases is also really easy to understand when we use a databaase approach

b) Since the system will be really large, it is better we use electronic database rather than manual database. It is practically not possible to store the information about so many people manually. Moreover if in future if there is any change we have to make, we would have to do it manually in all the required places. There will also be too much redundancy.

Three databases available in market these days are:

1) MySql Database

2.) Oracle Database

3.)Postgres Database

There are many more available but since the question asks only for 3, I have mentioned 3 only.

c) The ER Diagram for the system is provided below, In the picture below Tx is basically the table number, say for example, T1 is table 1, T2 is table 2, and so on...
