Our goal is to find out the cost of cementing given

the other parameters about the park.

The length and breadth of the rectangular park are

in a ratio x:y and the perimeter of the park is

given as p meter. The walk way of wm wide is built

along the border inside the park. We have to find

the total cost of cementing that path at the rate of

Rs. r per m²

Length of garden$=48 m$

Breadth of garden $=32 m$

Perimeter $=2(48+32)m=160 m$

∴ Length of fencing used to enclose the garden =160 m

Cost of fencing 1 m=Rs.98

∴ Cost of fencing $160 m=Rs.(98×160)=Rs.15680$

So, total cost =Rs.15680.
