- Memory. It is the part of your computer which lets it transfer Data between your software programs.
- The HDD and SDD is the part of your computer which holds your software and data.
- The Motherboard which is the part of your computer, which every other part connects to and it controls how those parts are used.
- The keyboard is the part of your computer which lets you input Data and commands to the computer and is used in conjunction with the touchpad to control the computer.
- The battery which supplies power to your computer when you are mobile and cannot use Main's power.
- The CD/DVD drive is the part of the computer which reads CD/DVD.
Methods used to access performance:
(i). Response time which is the total time lapse between the completion of an inquiry or demand made on a, system resource and receipt of a response.
(ii). Speed which is usually in reference to the clock speed of a processor. It is one of the leading parameters in assessing the computers performance.
(iii). Throughput refers to number of unit of information that can be successfully processed at any given time.
(iv). Latency which is the time it takes to communicate a message or the time the message spends traveling the geographical distance before it gets to its desired destination .
