2.

Flash memory is a type non-volatile memory chip which is used for storage and for the transferring of data between the personal computer and digital device. It is also known as the EEPROM is a type of data memory device which is used as an electronic device to erase or write digital data. It is distinct type of EEPROM, which can be programmed and erased in large blocks. It incorporates the use of floating-gate transistors which is used for storage of data. The chip of the flash memory is composed of NOR or NAND gates. The NOR gate interface supports full address, data buses and random access to any memory location. NAND gate requires less chip area per cell and have less cost and it added the resilience.

3.

The BIOS performs the POST, which initializes and test your computer's hardware. Then

it locates and runs your boot loader or load your operating system directly.

The primary function of BIOS's primary function is to handle the system setup process

including driver loading and operating system booting. The CMO's primary function is to handle and store the BIOS configuration settings.

4.

There are three types of bus are used -

  • Address bus - It carries memory address from processor to other components such as primary storage and input/output devices.
  • Data bus - It carries the data between processor and other components.
  • Control bus - It carries control signals from the processor to other components.
