which subnet mask would you choose?
Question: in4GB ... how many BITS are there?!

32000000000 does not seem to be correct
Given the following:

Comp 1:
IP Address: 192.168.0.20
Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.0.1
DNS 192.168.0.1

Comp 2:
IP Address: 192.168.1.21,
Mask: 255.255.255.0,
Gateway:192.168.1.1
DNS: 192.168.0.1

Which is correct?

A. The computers can't communicate w. each other

B. There is not anything wrong with this configuration

**This link http://greatwordpresshosting.com.au/thinklikeacomputer/2011/03/04/computer-networking-basics/ has some information regarding this matter, and on the bottom I posted the same inquiry and got the response that nothings wrong w the configuration..but I am not 100% certain on this given the computer circumstances...

Was wondering which is correct a or b?
Which of of these is the best example of a "systems integration tool" ?

Would it be: SAP or Oracle Or Tibco ?
Comp 1:
IP Address: 192.168.0.20
Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.0.1
DNS 192.168.0.1

Comp 2:
IP Address: 192.168.1.21,
Mask: 255.255.255.0,
Gateway:192.168.1.1
DNS: 192.168.0.1

Do you think that "these computers can communicate aka nothing wrong with the configuration" or can't they?

I'm conflicted on my answer as they have the same mask and both start with 192.168. but without the mask they could not? Also not sure what is DNS about..so I am conflicted on answer a or answer b.

A. The computers can't communicate w. each other

B. There is not anything wrong with this configuration

So can I believe its option2 based on that? yes or not?

b) Illustrate how E-cube routing scheme routes a message from P0000 to P1111 in a 4-D hypercube.
ASC is a small company that has a network of 30 computers. They are currently using a 100BaseT network that is wired with Cat 6 Plenum cable. Their computers were purchased 6 years ago from Dell. They have single Intel i3 processors, 2 GB RAM, and 500 GB HDs. The network has two 24 port hubs and a gateway router that connects them to a cable modem. Most of the computers are used for order processing and inventory control. They are in a workgroup called ASC, with all HDs and printers shared. The manufacturing plant has computerized equipment that is on a separate network that is self-contained/isolated. You are hired as a consultant to update the network. Propose an upgrade to this architecture. Describe the components you recommend and how the network would be configured. Your goal is a network that will support them for the next 5 years. The information in this mini-case is limited, so you will have to make assumptions. Document any assumptions.
Define the following delay types:
Processing Delay:
Queuing Delay:
Transmission Delay:
Propagation Delay:

(1)All the computers are connected in a series.
(2)All the nodes are connected to a centralized node.
