Core Network Services are the basic foundation for creating secure, compliant networks. The University of Ghana will require the following core network services to rely everything on their network include;
Active Directory Domain Service; a directory is a hierarchical structure that keeps information of objects present in the network, like users and computers.
DNS is a name resolution protocol for IP/TCP networks, such as the internet or the University of Ghana network.
DHCP is an Internet Protocol standard for summarizing the management of host Internet Protocol configuration. The DHCP will help the university of Ghana in the provision of standards for the use of DHCP servers as a method to run dynamic allocation of IP addresses and other concerned configurations of details for DHCP to enable clients on the University of Ghana Network.
TCP/IP; core technologies and utilities for joining the University of Ghana Windows-based computer with unlike systems for the reason of networking.
