A user’s laptop is shutting down unexpectedly. As a Network Technician, you discovered the “shutdowns” only happen when the laptop is moved from one room to another. You “reseat” the hard drive, memory, battery, and LCD cable, but the laptop continues to shut down.

Explain what could be the cause of this issue, and how would you resolve it.

The possible causes could be that the laptop is overheating and the remedy would be to open it up and clean the components.

Another reason might be the battery is loosely held and each time you move it might go off.

The other reason could be the task sheduler might be set to shutdown at random times unknowingly, this could be done by a quick check on the computer management settings to resolve the issue.
