(a) Network system are software and hardware components from which these networks are built. Types of network systems include;

• Local Area Network (LAN)
• Campus Area Network (CAN)
• Personal Area Network (PAN)
• Wide Area Network (WAN)
• Metropolitan Area Network (MAN)
• Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN)

(b)Network Protocols

There are three main network protocols namely;

• Network Management Protocols
• Network Communication Protocols
• Network Security Protocols

2. Network systems and related network traffics.

Network traffic is also known as data traffic. It is the amount of data moving across a computer network at any given time. Network traffic is broken down into data packets and sent over a network before being reassembled by the receiving device or computer.

(3) Network systems and related embedded system.

Embedded system applications range from digital watches and microwaves to hybrid vehicles and avionics. It is a microprocessor-based computer hardware system with software that is designed to perform a dedicated function, either as an independent system or as a part of a large system.
