  • Very simple connectivity- As it is point to point it's configuration is very simple as compared to Bus topology.
  • Highest Bandwidth because there is only two nodes having entire bandwidth of a link unlike Bus interconnection as several nodes are connected.
  • It provides low Latency as compared to Bus topology which efficiency decreases rapidly with each added node
  • Very fast compared to other network topologies e.g Bus topology because it can access only two nodes, while Bus topology access several nodes.
