Data: It is the meaningful but unstructured information which does not have any sense.

Information: Information is a combination of data which have a meaningful sense.

Example:

The Geospatial data or the spatial data is the information which has a geographic aspect to it for example - co-ordinates, city, address, postal code, etc comes under the geospatial data.
