socio-economic activity, and cultural aspects?

1. Terrorism and transnational organized crime are the most visible threats but beside that, we have others, whose influence on the security we cannot exclude. Climate change, poverty, media, social networks, politics, religion, health care, and many other issues. Societal threats are the next challenges. Traditional national security threats were always connected to security of the borders and territorial integrity. In the modern thinking, big part of the national security is societal security. This security is associated with every part of the social life of the citizens like the economy, religion, ethnicity, education, sports, politics, health care and every other aspect of living that citizens are feeling unsecured without. 
2. What are the advantages and disadvantage of globalization on Ethiopia economy, politics, and culture?

Advantages;

Through globalization, the technological differences between the countries are decreasing and the countries of the south are gaining technology transfer, foreign exchange and jobs.

• Globalization also allows for greater democratization and a strengthening of human rights and the rights of nature and animals.

• Globalization promotes the rapprochement of peoples and cultures. Societies no longer live in autarky: they interact and fertilize themselves to produce better things. cultures get richer by influencing each other.

• Human leisure is also enriched by the openness of the world. Sport (world events are transmitted live to all countries), cinema, shows of all kinds strengthen the cohesion and the rapprochement of peoples.

• Through globalization, countries suffering from a natural or human disaster quickly receive support from other countries, which alleviates the suffering of the victims.

• Thanks to globalization, man goes beyond the narrow framework of narrow nationalist affiliations, to become a citizen of the world.

As disadvantages of globalization, we can also add this:

• Economically, the market economy which has transformed the world into a large open shopping center is the cause of many financial crises which today threaten several countries of bankruptcy.

• Because of economic globalization, social inequalities between rich and poor countries are growing and becoming stronger. competition between countries whose citizens enjoy high purchasing power and other countries where purchasing power is very weak necessarily worsens the suffering of the poor.

• The political authorities of poor countries are increasingly subjected to pressure from international organizations which dictate the policy to be followed, which is not always at the service of the citizens of these countries.

• Because of globalization, the major world powers tend to interfere more often in the internal affairs of countries, to influence internal policies to orient them for their own benefit.

• Due to globalization, cultural specificities tend to disappear and become uniform: this results in cultural and social impoverishment. People abandon their customs, their ways of dressing, eating, their lifestyles to adopt a universal mode. We risk losing the cultural wealth specific to each region.

• Globalization also facilitates the rapid circulation of bad things: diseases (like the Coronavirus pandemic which currently lives).
