A cheering squad is made up of three members: Lynne of 50kg moving at 3 m/sNorth. Angie of mass 58kg moving eastward at 3 m/s and Mercy of mass 6 kg moving at 3 m/s south. What is the combined momentum of the squad?
A mass of 2.3 kg is initially moving at 5 m/s. A constant force of 15N is applied to the mass for 6 seconds. Find (a) the initial momentum, (b) final momentum.
4. A fluid moves in a steady flow manner between two sections in the same
flowline. At section 1: A = 0.10 m2, V, = 6 m/s, v1 = 0.33 m /kg. At
section 2: A2 = 0.2 m2, P2 = 0.27 kg/mº. Calculate for the velocity of flow
of section 2.
A. 37.63 m/s
C. 40.62 m/s
B. 33.67 m/s*
D. 46.02 m/s
I want to share a theorem in physics. It is from my thoughts. I called it (Omar's theorem in the centrifugal force)
Omar's theorem in the centrifugal force:
If an object is subjected to centrifugal force inside a car or bus, the object will stick outward to the window and will not be able to return or apply inertia if the moving object (bus or car) does not return to its normal motion in a straight line (one dimension).
Please tell me what do you think? Is it good? How can I share it?
The 60 kg block A and 20 kg block B are connected by a rope as shown in Figure 2 with the friction coefficients μs = 0.25 and μk = 0.20.
b) If the weight of block B is unknown, determine the range of tension exerted on the rope to maintain the block from moving.
c) If weight of block A is increased by 50%, determine whether the system is still in equilibrium.
particle at rest decays into two particles of rest mass mo and 2mo, lighter particle moves with a speed of 0.8c, find the speed of other particle in lab frame and hence find the rest mass of the original particle
