Explain Bernoulli's principle. Give an example how this principle is being applied or observed in our daily lives.
Bernoulli’s Principle states that the faster a fluid (or a gas) flows the lower the pressure of the fluid (gas). For example, this principle is observed when the person standing outside with an umbrella on a windy day and umbrella wants to fly away. It's because the air moves faster above umbrella and according to the Bernoulli’s Principle the pressure above umbrella is lower. Below the umbrella air moves slower and the pressure is greater. This results in the uplift force on the umbrella, and it wants to fly away.
