The speed of sound is influenced by the sounding temperature. As the temperature gets hotter the speed of sound moves at a higher rate. 


The formula in solving the speed of sound in air is v= 331 m/s + (0.6T). Higher Physics book suggested the equation v= 331 m/s √273 K + T/273 K, provided that the temperature is in Celsius unit. Since sound is a type of mechanical wave, it is also affected by th medium by which the sound is passing through. The speed of sound varies per medium such as solid, liquid and gas.
