The horizontal component of the velocity ("v_x = 15m\/s" ) does not change during the falling. Thus, if the stone covered the distance "d = 45m" during the falling, then it would take the following time:


"t =\\dfrac{d}{v_x} = \\dfrac{45m}{15m\/s} = 3s"
