Question #125472

Generally, walls of houses are poor conductors of heat. Explain two benefits of this in
relation to heat transfer in the house

Expert's answer

The words “poor conductors of heat” mean that the speed of transfer of heat through the walls is very low. It means that during cold weather, the air inside will get cooler at a slow rate. In summer, or when it is hot, the walls will not let the air inside warm up quickly.
