Explain why a mirror cannot give rise to chromatic aberration.
Chromatic aberration is a type of distortion in which there is a failure of a lens to focus all colors to the same convergence point. It is caused by the different colors of a light being bent different amounts. Mirrors do not care about the different colors as they only reflect the light instead of refracting it, therefore its aberration cannot occur.
