When ray of light enters into the eye, then it gets refract through the eye lense,

Due to this refraction, if it meets at the retina, then image will be formed and viewers can be able to see the image of the object, but if ray of light meets before the retina or away from the retina of the eye then it means that there is defect in the eye,

If rays light meets before the retina then the kind of defect is known as myopia. we can remove this defect by using the concave lens.

Now, if the ray of light meets after the retina then also he will not be able to see the image of the object, this kind of defect is known as hyper-metropolis.
