two sources is that the sources should be coherent. Explain what is meant by coherent in this text.

Answer

 According to optics Coherent source of light are sources of light which emit light waves of same wavelength, same frequency and are in same phase or having constant phase difference.

We know In the Young's double slit experiment, two coherent sources were generated using diffracted light from a single slit.
