When two prism, which is made of different material are arranged in such a way that if we are passing a ray of light in it, then the deviation of the mean ray is not zero but the dispersion is zero. Then this process is called deviation without dispersion.



The condition for the deviation without dispersion is given below-

"\\frac{A'}{A}=\\frac{\\mu_v-\\mu_r}{\\mu'_v-\\mu'_r}"

Where, A and A' are the angle of prism for crown and flint glass prism.
