For isothermal process, temperature is constant, thus the heat and energy and work done are equal due to no change in internal energy

and given by W=Pi Vi ln(Vf/Vi)

Since

Vf=2Vi

Thus W=Pi Vi ln(2)

or,

W=RTln(2)
