Question #60998

Why don't we feel cool when we are in front of sunshine, while evaporation is also taking place so rapidly?

Expert's answer

Evaporation from the human body surface leads to a decrease in body temperature. So after taking a shower or bath, we feel cool. Sunshine accelerates the evaporation process. Sunlight also heats the human body. So we don't feel cool when we are in front of sunshine.
