Thermal resistance is a measurement of a temperature difference by which an object or material resists a heat flow (heat per time unit or thermal resistance). Thermal resistance is the reciprocal of thermal conductance. Units in which thermal resistance R is measured: (m2K)/W where W=J/s stands for Watt in which heat flow is measured; m^2-square meters, measuring area; K-Kelvin, measuring temperature.
