A 18 g marble shatters into three pieces as shown in the figure above due to thermal stress. Piece one weighs 4.1g & is travelling at a speed of 58m/s-1. Piece 2 weighs 4.7g & is travelling at a speed of 72m/s-1 & piece 3 weighs 9.2g.

What is the speed of the third piece of the marble moving with after the shattering? (in m s−1 to 2 s.f))
A spring in simple harmonic motion is found to have a velocity of 5.65 m/s when a mass of 50.0 grams is placed on the end of the spring. If the spring constant is 12.5 N/m, what is the maximum
displacement from equilibrium position that the spring system experiences?
A 0.010-kg bullet is fired from a 5.0-kg gun with a muzzle velocity of 230 m/s. Call the direction in which the bullet is fired from the +x direction .

Part A:
While the bullet is traveling in the barrel, what is the ratio of the acceleration of the gun to the acceleration of the bullet ?

Part B:
What is the speed of the bullet relative to the ground at the instant the bullet leaves the barrel?
A maximum machine gun fire is 465 per minute. Each bullet has a mass of 12 g in a velocity of 655M/S what is the average fours that the impact of these bullets exert on a target assume the bullets penetrate the target in remain in bedded in it calculates answer to one decimal
Hello!
I wonder what kind of vehicle (small or big) would be best in a head-on car crash with another car. I also wonder where the safest seat is in a head-on car crash, like where could I sit to get as least/lightly damage as I can. I am trying to understand this but I have trouble finding the connections to this with kinetic energy, impulse, momentum, power, and acceleration. I would apprentice if you could help.

Thanks in advance.
Best regards

An Archimedean screw is a screw within a closely fitting cover, so that water can be raised when the screw is turned. Suppose the screw has a mechanical advantage of 12.5. If the screw is turned several times, so that the input distance is 15.7 m, how much has water been lifted upward by the screw (output distance)?
To open a bottle, you apply a force of 50 N to the bottle opener. The bottle opener applies a force of 775 N to the bottle cap. What is the mechanical advantage of the bottle opener? What type of lever is this?
Using the energy conservation law determine the following...
If the minimum velocity needed by the skater to pass the loop is 5.42m/s, what is the minimum initial height that allows the skater complete the loop?
a cylindrical drum has radius r and weight W. the drum is to be rolled over onto a step of height r/2 by a horizontal force F applied to the top of the drum
what is the minimum force F required for the drum to start rolling on the step?
