Question #90210

How trampolin works ?
when we just stand on it and not jump
Does that happen that springs provide equal and opposite force to body weight and so we remain standing on trampolin but when we jump we provide extra force and springs make us jump pls explain that am i right

Expert's answer

Yes, when we jump, we create push, momentum

p=mΔV=FΔtp=m\Delta{V}=F\Delta{t}

According to the law of impulse, to give the body speed, you need to make an effort for a while

This force compresses the trampoline springs and stores energy. The energy of the spring is now transformed into the kinetic energy of the jump.
