Answer to Question #83918 in Mechanics | Relativity for Murari

Question #83918
dx and dy are used differentiation
But with that they are said to represent very small quantities
My question is that when we do differentiation we put big values
Like d(36+2x)/dy
Then is this thing wrong that dx reprsent small value??

yes, dx and dy represents the very small quantities. But these small quantities are considered in a fiqure for the calculation purpose.

But your question function is the differentiation and differentiation represents the rate of change in the quantity with respect to variable.

Calculate the value of the function b the relation as follows:

F=d(36+2x)/dy=0

Because , y is not present in the function d(36+2x)/dy.

dx,dy is used for representing small quantities . so you can represent small quantities in a figure by dx or dy.
