The answer to this question takes the same procedure described in Q279861.
In this, the initial speed of the vehicle, the deceleration and the final speed that is zero as it stops are given.
You can use the same simple equation you used in that question in this as well.
But you need to remember that when you substitute for the variable you need to use it with a negative sign as it is a deceleration, not an acceleration.
