1) The braking distance is the distance the car travels from the point when it starts braking until it finally stops. The braking distance of the running car may increase due to wet and icy road (because of less friction between tyres of car and road). The load of the car, also, may increase the braking distance of the car.

2) The relationship between stopping distance, braking distance and thinking distance can be written as follows:

Stopping distance = Thinking distance + Braking distance.

3) There is a following relationship between acceleration, initial velocity and final velocity:


"v=v_0+at."


4) The weight is the force exerted on the body by gravity. The unit of weight is newton. The weight is the vector quantity.

5) The relationship between  weight, mass and gravity can be written as follows:


"W=mg."
