A) Check for frayed power cords.
This is because the electric cord on your appliance contains a live wire that is securely insulated. But if a cord becomes frayed, the live wire can be exposed which is dangerous and can leave you vulnerable to electric fires.
B) Loose plug or broken prongs.
Loose connections can be deadly and cause electric shocks or fires so they need to be carefully wired and maintained to ensure they do not cause electric shocks or fires.
