1) Elastic limit — property of the substance, the maximum load stress, after removal of which there are no residual (plastic) deformations.

2) Hooke's Law-a statement according to which the deformation that occurs in an elastic body (spring, rod, console, beam, etc.) is proportional to the force applied to this body.

3) yield Strength — a mechanical characteristic of a material that characterizes the stress at which deformations continue to grow without increasing the load.

4) a Perfectly elastic body (Hooke's body).

A physical model of an ideally elastic body can be schematically represented as a spring having the following properties: when the load is transferred to the spring, it stretches, and when the load is removed, it returns to its original position.
