The permanent bar magnet is moved to the downward, toward a loop of wire (as shown). The north pole of the magnet is closer to the loop, as shown. What direction will the INDUCED magnetic field be in the center of the loop of wire, from the loop of wire?

As the magnet moves toward the loop, the flux of the magnetic field through the loop increases. Then the induction current in the peel has such a direction that its magnetic field is directed against the increase in the magnet field.
