You are standing perfectly still and then take a step forward. Before the step, your momentum was zero, but afterwards you have some momentum. Is the principle of conservation of momentum violated in this case? Explain your answer
Answers
Principle of momentum conservation is not violated because when we take step we apply a impulse on earth and same magnitude of impulse is applied by earth on use. We get same momentum and earth also get momentum but it is very very low because acceleration of earth due to impulse is very low .
