The Philosophy of critical theory encourages a radical approach to the way in which power and social structures influence your thought processes and actions. As a teacher, how would you implement critical thinking (pedagogy) in your classroom?
Critical pedagogy is a teaching philosophy that invites educators to encourage students to critique structures of power and oppression. It is rooted in critical theory, which involves becoming aware of and questioning the societal status quo. In critical pedagogy, a teacher uses his or her own enlightenment to encourage students to question and challenge inequalities that exist in families, schools, and societies.
As a teacher, I will implement critical thinking by setting simple puzzle games and test that will help students in thinking critically to solve the puzzle or accomplish the tests.
